If you have bought a new phone, or lost your phone, or you suddenly stop working, then you face this problem. This has happened to all of us and will continue to happen with many. The only way to avoid this is that you have backup of all contacts. Do this to make the contact back up on the smartphone.

iPhone
You can backup your iPhone contacts on your computer via iCloud or iTunes. The way to backup on iCloud is very simple but it will require internet connection.

1. Go to Settings, then choose iCloud.

2. The switch next to the contacts should be in the green position.

You can continuously backup your contacts on iCloud through this one step. If you format your phone, then all the contacts will be returned with signing in on the iCloud account.

If you do not have an internet connection, you can still make a backup of contacts through iTunes.

1. First download and install the latest version of iTunes.

2. Connect your iPhone to the computer via USB.

3. Launch iTunes.

4. Tap the iPhone icon made in the top on the left side of the menu bar.

5. Tap on Info on the sidebar on the left side.

6. Check the sink contacts.

7. After this, you can choose those services by going to the drop down menu in which you can sync your contact. We on windows device

There is an option to sync with Outlook or Windows Contacts. Windows is present on a contact machine backup on contacts.

8. After selecting Windows Contacts, click on the switch in the pop-up after which the backup process will begin.

In this way your iPhone contacts will be backup on your personal computer. Windows contacts feature is not available on Windows 7, but you can install it through Windows Live Essentials.


Android
If you have an internet connection, then you can backup contacts on Android phones in this way.

1. Go to settings. Tap on the accounts and then choose Google.

2. Tap the account name written on the top.

3. Ensure that there is a check mark for contacts.

After this, all your contacts will continue to be backup on your Google account. Just keep in mind that the menu may be slightly different due to different company’s mobile phones and different Android versions. If you do not have an interpreting on your phone, then follow this process.

1. Open the contacts.

2. Tap three vertical dots visible on the right side in the top.

3. Select Import/Export

4. Tap on export to storage.

5. After this a pop-up will come which will give you information about where your contacts will be exported. Tap on OK.

6. Open the file manager app on your phone. If you do not have this app on your phone, then you can download ES File Explorer.

7. In the file manager, you go to the folder where there are contacts stores. If you do not know much about it, then search by writing VCF and the contacts files will start appearing to you.

Copy these files and store it to a safe place. If you need these contacts in future, then you will have to use import function in the contacts section.

Blackberry 10
1. Go to settings. Choose an account.

2. Tap on the ad account seen in the screen bottom.

3. Tap on email, calendar and contacts.

4. Enter your Gmail ID and tap on Next.

5. Then enter your password and tap on the sign in.

6. With this your account will be set up. Ensure that Sync contacts are on.

With this, all the contacts on your Blackberry 10 will be backup in Google account. If you form your phone, then use the same Gmail ID once again. As soon as you do this, your contacts will automatically come on the phone.

Windows Phone
You do not need to do anything special to backup contact on Windows Phone. When you set up the phone for the first time, at that time you have to sign in using a microsoft account. Since then, all your contacts automatically start backup in the Microsoft account.
