With the help of this app based on UPI, any user can get payment and money through online banking. This is completely different from the pammate wallet, for which you have to put money to install the app and use it.
While launching the app, Prime Minister Modi said, “Whether you have a smartphone or a feature phone of Rs 1,000-1,200. Bhima app will work with everyone. Internet connectivity will not be required, now some security features are being tested. Soon it will only require thumb to use it.”
What is Bhima App?
Through the Bhima app, any person can send or get money in a digital way. This app will be linked to your bank account. In such a situation, you will not worry about putting money in the wallet. At the same time, shopkeepers will also get rid of the concern of transferring money from their payment wallet to bank account.
How will this app come on your phone?
You can download the Bhima app from Google Play Store. This app has been released by the National Payments Corporation of India. This app is available for free. This app will soon be made available on the iOS platform.
How will it be used?
After downloading the Bhima app, you have to register with your bank account app. After this, you have to set UPI PIN. Your mobile is your payment address. Through the app, you can send and receive money to any phone. You can check the balance. The QR code can be paid by scanning and the phone number will not be required for this.
In the banks that are not connected to the UPI platform, you will be able to send money through IFSC as before.
Will it work with a feature phone?
Apart from the app, the interface can be accessed through the feature phone through USSD (unstable supplementary service data). You have to dial *99# to access it. Internet connection will not be required for this method.
