The YouTube offline feature launched in 2014 can save Android and iOS users later on their device to watch YouTube video on their device. These videos can be downloaded through mobile data or Wi-Fi network. This feature comes with ad -port, which means that you have to watch the advertisement before watching the video.

It is worth noting that not every video can be seen offline on YouTube. Most popular YouTube contests of India can be downloaded. But sometimes you will see that some videos are not available to download.
Offline availability
Any video downloaded from offline feature can be watched offline for only 48 hours. Next, you will need an active internet connection and you have to sink a video in the YouTube app to watch the video.

The company announced a few months ago that the offline feature of YouTube would have two new work editions. Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that users will know how long it will take to download so that you can start download when you are not busy. Apart from this, you will be able to schedule downloading at night also like background downloading. In the coming month, we can see these features in YouTube offline.
How to download YouTube video to watch offline
To watch YouTube video offline, first you have to open a YouTube app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.
Now go on the video file you want to download and watch the ‘Ed to offline’ icon made under the video. (Apart from this, you can select the ‘Ed to offline’ button by visiting the Context Menu button). Keep in mind that if this video is not available for watching offline, then the sign of the cross will be made on this icon. Which means that you cannot download that video file on your device.
After clicking on the offline icon, the YouTube app will ask you for selection to file resolution- low, medium, HD. The video will be downloaded quickly from the low quality selection and will take less space in your device. But the quality of this video will be very bad. Once the quality is selected, the video will start to be saved in your device.
How to watch YouTube video offline
Keep in mind that the video saved will be available only to watch in the YouTube app. You have to go to YouTube’s homepage to find the file. After this you can either bring the video down or tap on the back button in Android.
Once you reach the homepage, click on the account tab (a human body -like icon in the top corner on the right side).
On this page you will get saved videos. By clicking on it, you will be able to watch all the videos that you have saved to watch offline. If you want to delete a video, then click on the Context Menu Next of the video and select ‘Remove’ with ‘Save Video’.
