The company has received pre-orders worth over 1 million units for new foldable smartphones in its large market South Korea. It is 14 percent more than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 of the company introduced last year. A report by ETNEWS states that Galaxy Z Fold 7 holds 60 percent of the pre-orders. This is the first time that the fold version of the company’s smartphones has left behind the new FLIP smartphone in pre-orders. Last year, the FLIP version of Samsung got 60 percent of the pre-orders.
In India too, the new series of Samsung’s foldable smartphones has received good response from customers. Recently, the company had said that 2.10 lakh pre-orders have been received for these smartphones within the first 48 hours. Samsung started taking pre-orders for them only after the launch of this smartphone series. The company has said that the pre-orders of these smartphones have broken the previous records of booking for its smartphones. These are more than the pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series of Samsung earlier this year.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage variants in India is priced at Rs 1,74,999 and Galaxy Z Flip 7’s 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage variants are priced at Rs 1,09,999. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe of this smartphone series has been brought to an initial price of Rs 89,999. Samsung has reported that customers pre-ordering for Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe will be given 512 GB variants at the price of 256 GB storage variants.
