Scientists Discover New Electric Field in Earth Atmosphere Crucial for Life

Geologists have detected a new electric field spread around the earth. This light electric field present in the Earth’s atmosphere is considered very important to confirm a theory. This electric field is quite weak and is only 0.55 volts. With the help of study of this electric field, the history of the development of the Earth’s atmosphere can be known. Also, it can also be ascertained how the situation remains favorable for life here.

At the NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, the atmospheric scientist Glyn Colinson led the Enduration Rocket Mission. This electric field was successfully measured under this mission. In May 2022, it was measured over the question of Kotbard Norway. Colinson has called it a planetary energy field. It was still hidden from the point of view of scientists. The presence of this electric field can prove to be an important point about a discovery made decades ago.

Actually, scientists gave the theory of ‘Polar Wind’ a long time ago. When the sunlight collides with the upper atmosphere of the Earth, it frees the negatively charged ions i.e. electrical particles and push them towards the space. But heavy, positive charge oxygen ions remain there. A light electric field is formed here to maintain the atmosphere at an electrical level that tries to maintain these ions together, and prevents them from getting out in space.

This weak electric field gives energy to light ions. For example, hydrogen, which becomes free from the gravity of the earth and then contributes to the polar winds. According to the planetary scientist David Brain of the University of Colorado Boulder, the found of such electric fields can explain why life is not found like Earth on planets like Mars or Venus. Why do you not be able to support life there. That is, the formation of such electric field on a planet can also be the reason for the flourish of life.

Even though their electric fields are present on Mars and Venus, but due to the absence of any such global megatic field, the atmosphere there is mostly found in space, which gives a huge difference in climate there. NASA is now going to carry forward this mission which has been announced by the Space Agency. NASA has designed a rocket called Resolute for its follow -up mission which can be launched soon.
