Bharti Airtel has partnered with the Indian Military to increase cellular community protection to distant villages in Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipur districts alongside the Line of Management (LoC) in North Kashmir.

Launched as a part of the PM Vibrant Village programme, the initiative goals to bridge the digital divide and join remoted communities. Airtel has put in 15 cellular towers in these areas, benefiting the native inhabitants and Indian Military personnel deployed alongside the LoC.

By offering important communication companies, Airtel empowers troopers to remain linked with their households and improve operational coordination. The newly linked villages, which embrace Kuchle, Balbir, Razdan Go, Taya High, Ustad, Kathi and Cheema, are positioned in Kiran, Machhal, Tangdhar, Griz and Uri valley areas.
