The iPhone accounts for about 50 percent in this revenue. Apple completed its one billion units of its shipment in 2016 after the launch of the iPhone. However, the company did not say when the shipment figure of two billion units of the iPhone was achieved. The company’s MAC and iPad have been at $ 8.05 billion (about 0.70 lakh crore rupees) and $ 6.58 billion (about 0.57 lakh crore rupees) respectively. The sales of iPhones are also increasing in India. Apple’s iPhone 16 has the highest shipment in the second quarter of this year in the country. The company is expected to ship around 28 million iPhone in India in the second quarter. This will increase by about 20 percent on a year-on-year basis. Despite the weak season in the country’s smartphone market and the scorching heat in many states, iPhone sales are likely to be strong.

The company’s sales in the country have also increased with discounts and financed options on iPhones. Apple opened two retail stores in India about two years ago. Apple plans to start new stores in the country soon. Earlier this year, Cook had said that the company plans to open four new stores in the country.
