Earth once froze with glaciers converted to snowball earth 70 crore years ago evidence in colorado mountains

Do you know that there was a time on our earth when it became a snowball. The history of the Earth is very old. Man has also developed gradually. Hundreds of civilizations have come here before. But it is very difficult to gather evidence about what happened on Earth in the initial stages. However, on the basis of study, geologists have introduced many theory, whose evidence has also started coming out gradually. One such new study has come out which supports the theory of snowball economy.

Geologists from the University of Colorado have introduced a strong evidence that says that the earth must have been transformed into snow shells at a time! The theory states that at one time the Earth was completely covered by the glaciers. Even the equator was covered with snow. This study has been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Through this, the first physical evidence of global freeze is found which suggests that the Earth was completely covered with snow about 70 million years ago.

The prominent writer of the study, Liam Cortney Davies and his team, emphasized that there are some rocks in the front range of the stony mountains of Colorado called Tawakaiv or Tava Sandstone. Researchers used state -of -the -art dating technology here, including laser ablation mass spectometry. Scientists found that these rocks were underground about 70 million years ago. And the reason behind this is that they were buried under the weight of the glaciers.

Getting glacial evidence here testifies that at one time, snow was present here, which also pressed the rocks. The direct meaning of the glacier’s evidence on the Mediterranean also comes out that the entire planet was buried in the snow at that time. At that time the Earth was floating in space as a snow shell. Here not only does the snowball theory support, but it is also known that the Earth was going through a serious phase. However, the researcher team believes that more research is yet to be done in this regard. But their discovery will also motivate others to further research.
