Honor has reported in a teaser given on China’s microblogging platform Weibo that the 64 -megapixel periscope will be with support for the 64 -megapixel periscope telephoto camera optical image stabilization (OIS). The company claims that it is the highest resolution periscope telephoto camera in a foldable smartphone. Honor’s Magic V3, introduced last year, had a 50 -megapixel telephoto camera.
The Magic V5 will be launched in China on 2 July. It may have a triple rear camera unit. It can have a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. This smartphone will have Honor’s Luban Shock-Abjorbing Hinj. This beaut has been claimed to be a drop resistant. On folding the Magic V5, the thickness will be 8.8 mm. However, the company has not informed about its weight. This smartphone will be brought in 12 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB and 16GB + 1TB of RAM and storage options. It will be made available in four colors. It can run at Magic 9.0 based on Andorid 15. In the last few years, sales of foldable smartphones have increased rapidly. South Korea’s smartphone maker Samsung has the highest stake in this segment.
Recently, Honor’s executive, Li Kun claimed that the thickness of the Magic V5 would be low. This smartphone can have a 6.45 -inch Ltpo OLED cover screen and 8 inch 2K inner screen. The Magic V5 will have a 6,100 mAh battery. Honor’s Magic V3 had a 5,150 mAh battery with support for 66 W Wires and 50 W wireless charging. The Magic V5 may have a 6.45 inch Ltpo OLED cover screen and 8 inch 2K inner screen with a refresh rate of 120 HZ.
