Samsung started taking pre-orders for these smartphones only after the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe. The company has said that the pre-orders of these smartphones have broken the previous records of booking for its smartphones. These are more than the pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series of Samsung earlier this year. The price of 12 GB of Galaxy Z Fold 7 of the company and 256 GB of storage variants starts at Rs 1,74,999. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7’s 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage variants have an initial price of Rs 1,09,999. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe of this smartphone series has been made available at an initial price of Rs 89,999.
The company has reported that customers pre-ordering for Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe can take 512 GB variants at the price of 256 GB storage variants. Pre-orders for these smartphones can be given at select retail stores in addition to Samsung’s website and major e-commerce sites. Samsung’s President and CEO, (Southwest Asia), JB Park said, “Our records of pre-orders for our Made in India foldable smartphones have reinforced the company’s belief that young Indian customers are adopting new technology rapidly.” The market of foldable smartphones has increased in the last few years. Samsung has the highest stake in this segment.
In the second quarter of this year, Samsung has retained its first place in this market with the sale of about 5.8 million units in the international shipments of smartphones. The company’s shipments have increased by 7.9 percent. Samsung has benefited from Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56’s strong sales in the second quarter.
